I never told you guys about the day I met Dom Kennedy. So if you didnt know I work at the Staples Center. Far as I can remember there was never a day that I didnt pre-session in my car before going to work. Well today was that day I didnt for some reason. While I was working my job was to break the other workers and replace there position so they can go on break. I have about four people to do this to. While I was on my first one I was watching the LA Kings play STL Blues I think. But I was spittin the verse too “This is where I belong” breaking it down on the part where he says “Stop holding back,I gotta release,APRIL 21st NIGGA I GOT A RELEASE” Only reason I had this song in my head was because thats my ringtone. So Im over here pondering on how Dom has came such a way and has taken the biggest steps ive seen an independent on the west take. Its dope. So im walking to my next spot and catch glimps of this dude that looked like Dom. He passed and my first reaction was to say “Yo Dom Kennedy!” He turned around and I shook hands with dude and asked him if he knew who I was. He said no and I told him keep it up. The end.
